Legal Organisational Principles of the Concept of a University Clinic as a Basis for Scientific and Practical Interdisciplinary Collaboration
The paper is devoted to the role of the university-based science in the development of a hospital of the future. A breakthrough of the domestic medicine in the development of the new medical technologies and pharmaceuticals is only possible on the basis of the modern multi-profile clinics. The author shows how we can use the potentials of the domestic university-based science based on the interdisciplinary collaboration and cooperation for creation of a new type of a clinic.

Prospects of the Development of the Saint Petersburg Clinical Complex Federal Budgetary Funded Agency “National Medical and Surgical Centre named after N.I. Pirogov” under the Ministry of Public Healthcare of Russia as a Basis Entity for Creation of the University Clinic of the Saint Petersburg State University
Using the actual example the authors are eager to show what criteria should be followed by a university clinic for the successful medical cooperation. At the same time they explain the history and prospects of the development of one of the oldest hospitals of Saint Petersburg.

Determination of the Legally Binding Damages Inflicted to the Patient by Improper Treatment (Comparative Law Aspect)
The author deals with the problems of search of the optimal model of remedy in case of violation of the patients’ rights due to improper treatment. Comparative legal analysis of the existing models of responsibility is performed for the laws of Russia and countries of the EU, inclusive of the norms of soft law.

Obligation of Confidentiality in Labour Relations
Aim of the paper is to define the range of persons liable for maintenance of obligation of confidentiality in the frames of labour relations and the order of imposing of such obligation. The author arrives at the conclusion that such obligation definitely defers from other obligations if compared from the point of the procedure of its imposing on doctors and other medical staff of the medical organisation.

Nature, Causes and Grounds of Legal Relations Arising in the Course of Rendering of Medical Services
The paper examines the legal nature, causes and grounds for the emergence of an agreement for provision and payment of medical services. The author arrives at the conclusion that the medical services agreement concluded upon the obligatory medical insurance does not regulate the relations arising during the rendering of medical services which makes it only an organisational agreement.
